Soul Blossoms & Hydrangea's

Deb (blogless) dropped in today and I couldn't resist showing off her wonderful new quilt top. She has put it together with Amy Butler's divine Soul Blossoms range, based on Jane Brockets Hydrangea pattern.
It is simply delicious! These stripes make me swoon!
Another pic under the apple tree...
Wow I have to get back to some sewing soon. Thanks Deb, it has been fun to be inspired by your beautiful quilt top.

DH and I are off to see The Kings Speech movie tonight (sans kids, yay!). This will be my second time, I loved it so much the first time I had to go again! Have you seen it? What did you think? xo

Her quilt is just beautiful!! You must start sewing again very soon. I am sure you will be inspired soon. In the meantime, movies are a good distraction. I am glad you gave us a review of The King's Speech. I haven't seen it yet, but now I might just go.

Deb's top is GORGEOUS! Not that I need encouragement -- I'm enjoying Soul Blossoms more and more as I see it pop up on projects. I think I need some more prints. :-) Haven't seen The King's Speech yet but I really want to.

I want to see this movie but it isn't the type my husband would love. I've read all about this event in history though so I'll see it at some point. Hope you enjoyed it. LOVE the quilt.
