Well a picture tells a thousand words! and your story is fabulous. I'm tempted to say something about "a bit of a yarn" hehe but clearly that would be bad punning so I won't. SOSOSOSOSO jealous about the Kaffe meeting - truly was it wonderful? He has been my crafty hero since I was a young thing and that was some time ago.
BTW - glad to see Kim and Janet in the same room - because really, they could be sisters. Is Kim doing a workshop here?
This is beautiful Cathy. I love how you have used the edge from the sari fabric to such good effect! Your friend is very lucky indeed. I wish I was still knitting and it was me :-) Great choice of fabrics together too. gorgeous!
That bag is MINE!! Cathy made this gorgeous bag for me - I'm so lucky! I'm carrying my knitting around in it. Finished one sock, starting the other one. When I finish the sock, I can carry my applique in it. Love the fabrics it is made of. It was admired by everyone at the dinner. Kim McL
