Mmmm, yummy. Love those Amy Butler fabrics.
I love it too, I think it looks fabulous colourwise. You're probably pretty good at auditioning fabrics by now not to have to think it all out at the begining and I think it's fun way to work too.
Hi Mimi, I can't find your email so I'm replying here, hopefully you come back!!! This is done by the english paper piecing method, check here to see it started: http://cabbagequilts.blogspot.com/2011/02/soul-blossom-star.htmlThanks for dropping by, Cathy xo

Oh it's certainly going somewhere Cathy!!! It's gorgeous and so different! Isn't it just great and aren't we lucky to have an interest that is such fun! I'm really enjoying seeing how this is going. I guess now you need to start looking out for a super giant-sized round bed!!!!
I'm doing a similiar quilt and I love the way each fabric appears to change as you add another beside it. I think the harmony of these quilts is in the variety of fabrics.I do tend to try and have an element of similarity or a common colour each time I start a new row.
It looks gorgeous so far, so it will be gorgeous in the end! Love it!!
This quilt is going to be delicious!! I am kicking myself for not ordering up a mess of those shot cottons before the prices went up! You always do such a marvelous job of color placement :)
Oh, I love how it's coming together, Cathy! I have two rounds' worth cut out because of your inspiration. I dragged them on a recent trip but they didn't get sewn up. I WILL, I WILL, I WILL because I love both of yours. :-) Thanks for the inspiration!
Amazingly gorgeous! I love it and hope you share more rounds with us.
Oooo, I love where you are going with this quilt!! It's so bright and cheerful. Are you going to make it square eventually or keep it round?Crispy
It's gorgeous! I'm wondering how big your squares and diamonds are? I really want to make one like that (one day).
I just love this quilt! I too would LOVE to make one of these!
