Recently I was thrilled to be asked to hang a couple of my quilts in our council/library foyer. There was just enough room for four quilts, two are Andrea's amazing creations (our shire cultural planner) and two are mine.
Mine is the Japanese Fruit Salad on the left, rather dwarfed by Andrea's huge log cabin quilt made out of 1000's of incredibly tiny log cabin blocks. Check out a closeup....
I also hung my Fassetted Mosaic quilt. We have yet to put up some info sheets.
What fun to have our quilts hanging in a public space for a couple of months. If you are visiting the mornington library you will see them on your way in!!
I will get a few pics together of my now finished Japanese Fruit Salad quilt to show very soon. xo

It's great Cathy to be able to show off your quilts, I think this is the best motivation to keep creating! Enjoy!
That's wonderful Cathy. I'm sure your quilts and those of your friend will be greatly admired.
Just wonderful Cathy, I'd be changing my books every day just so I could see them if they were mine...

Wow, what an honor. Congratulations.
Love your library quilt displays. I have displayed quilts made by my friends and myself at the Kempsville Area Library in Virginia Beach, VA, USA. I worked there for 15 years and the new quilt is always eagerly awaited. The public gets to see what their neighbors are doing. I change the quilt (ONLY 1) each month.
