Not the best photo's, but you get the idea.
Part of the fun of these blocks is all the fussy cutting you can do (I love those butterflies).
These blocks are a riot of colour!!
Speaking of colour, we went to one of our local beaches the other day and I must say, I adore the colour of some of the beach boxes we have here on the Mornington Peninsula.
This one almost looks edible!!
Wherever you are, have a fabulous weekend. xo

I particularly like the first quilt. And I LOVE those beach huts!
Gorgeous header! Spring seems to have sprung at your neck of the wood. And of course I love your Japanese X quilt. The colours just scream "Spring", don't they?

I am in love with both versions!! But I must say that the brightly colored one is calling my name... can you hear it? ;) Boy do I just adore those colorful beach huts!! Fantastic. I can see myself living in a house painted in those colors.
What do people do in the "cute" little beach huts? They look pretty tiny to me.
You always have such a way with color and pattern. These quilts are very cool and I love them, as usual!
p.s. I "pinned" the Japanese X quilt cause I really love it!
The x and + quilts are fabulous! I've never seen that particular pattern before. The pink and brown combination is a favorite of mine already. I love pink with green and will have to try it with browns now. So glad I found you!
These quilts are soooo pretty. Amazing how different they look with the different fabrics.
Love the beach houses!! It would be fun to paint a house with these colors though the neighbors probably wouldn't appreciate it LOL.

Another amazing quilt Cathy! What do you do with them all? You always inspire me, thank you!
The colors and fabrics you used really make that quilt! As always, I want to be just like you. I have saved the pattern, and hope to make it at some point.
LOVE your work!!!
Looking forward to a catch up soon!
xx
Love your Japanese x quilt. I love scrappy, happy quilts. It is amazing how different the two quilts look, even though they are the same pattern.
love the new header photo!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this quilt!!! Your addition of the black and red to the pastels is brilliant. It's a riot of happiness.
The japaneese X quilt is fabulous! I love all that colour. It will be great eye spying for all the different fabrics.
Looking so terrific. Because of this quilt, I've been collecting "wordy" fabrics for mine. I hope to have one at some point as well. Thanks for posting the photos.

How great would it be to hold a mini quilt show at the beach huts? They'd be so gorgeous strung up on and between them!
Your top is gorgeous Cathy, I love it. Love the beach huts too, how fun.
Love the scrappyness of the quilt. Looks like something I would make.
Those buildings are so cute. Makes for a happy trip.
